Project Life for June

It’s that time of the month where I share my project life pages with you. Project Life is my favorite memory keeping activity and I have been doing it since 2010! In general, I take a picture every day and write a little something about it.

One of the ideas that I love about Project Life is the emphasis on appreciating the ordinary and mundane of daily life. Taking a photo every day helps me to really appreciate my life as it is. This is not to say that there aren’t areas of my life I wouldn’t like to change but it really helps to put things into perspective. It really shines a light how fortunate I am to live where I live and the life that I live.

There are many ways to do Project Life but I do it in the traditional way where I take a photo every day. In the old days, it was called Project 365.

WEEK ONE (JUNE 1-3)
My photos for the  week typically have no theme or pattern. I truly enjoy the randomness of my photos. This week we have the sixth month of the year starting (time moves too fast for me sometimes) and my one and only niece celebrating her 20th birthday.

WEEK TWO (JUNE 4-10)
In this week’s highlights, Gabriel graduated from high school and will trek to UCLA in the fall. Also exciting, my Golden State Warriors won the NBA championship by sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers!

WEEK THREE (JUNE 11-17)
This week found me enjoying some creative time down at Scrapbook Island in Los Gatos.

WEEK FOUR (JUNE 18-24)
This week I went for a walk on a trail near my home and attended a charity event hosted by JaVale McGee (formerly of the Golden State Warriors) 🙁 🙁

WEEK FIVE (JUNE 25-30)
This final week includes my dental surgery, my angel daughters’ 23rd birthday, and our book club gathering for brunch in San Francisco.

July is my birthday month and I enjoy celebrating all month-long. Now celebration doesn’t always involves parties and major activities but I anticipate being involved in a few celebratory activities. But, because real life is always present, loads of laundry and dishes will still need doing!

See you in July!
