
Welcome to the 4th month of 2023! I keep trying to not be the person who is always mentioning “how time flies” but I am constantly amazed about how fast time is moving by.
In any event, time does continue moving so the choice is mine as to how I use it. Here’s my review of goals and intentions for March followed by my April goals and intentions.
MARCH REVIEW
HOME
Start to declutter the guest room closet-COMPLETED
De-Clutter Jewelry-STARTED
Ask for recommendations on Next Door for dry wall work-NOPE
CREATIVE
Create cards for various events happening this month-COMPLETED
HEALTH/FITNESS
Exercise 8 times this month-ZERO
5,500 steps x 20 days-COMPLETED 17 DAYS
Continue blood sugar tracking-COMPLETED AND IMPROVING.
I am very happy with the progress I am making in this area. My averages are continuing to decline and my sugars are more in range than not.
7 day-174 average; 30 day-170 average; 90 day-189 average.

My goal is 110-125 so I have a ways to go but this is a process and I have to be patient. I saw a quote today that said, “the day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.” This sums up how the process works.

This is really pathetic because I truly enjoy both of these activities. The problem is that I’m usually too tired when I am doing my pm skincare. I’m going to try to do my skincare either by or before 9 PM so that I can get it all in.

LESSONS LEARNED IN MARCH
One of the things I learned is that if I give myself a goal to do something 8 times per month, I’ll likely wait until the end of the month and try to do it all at one time. You might notice that my exercise goal is still 8 times this month. However, I have opted for the goal to be twice per week so that I have it constantly in my focus. The same for my skin care. The goal is not to do it four days in a row but once a week throughout the month. The intention is to develop a habit and not just get a certain number of exercise or skin care sessions in.
