July Project Life

Yay for me!!  I’m posting my monthly spread for project life this on time this month.  I realize that the timing doesn’t matter to anyone other than me but it is important to me that I (1) keep up with my project life album this year and (2) that I post around the time that I have given myself a goal to (which is mid-month).

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you know that July was a special month for me as it was my birthday month. It is also at this time of the year that I reflect on my life, what I’d like to change, what I’d like to keep the same, what’s working, what’s not, and on and on.  Just like at the beginning a the year, this transitional period feels like a natural fit to do some personal reflection.

I also like to celebrate all month-long.  While my project life album doesn’t necessarily cover all of those celebrations, some things are highlighted.

Onto the photo spread:

WEEK ONE:
JULY  2-8

This week included the follow-up from my dental surgery, the 4th of July as well as attending the Big 3 basketball game at Oracle.

WEEK TWO:
JULY 9-15

This week focused on lots of personal and silly stuff.  I have so many gadgets (and I’m not really a gadget person)!  I got my nails done and cleaned out a drawer that really needed cleaning out!

WEEK THREE:
JULY 16-22

The highlight of this week was my 56th birthday.  I also went to brunch with the fabulous ladies of my book club which is always a great time.

WEEK FOUR:
JULY 23-29

This week I was thrilled to FINALLY have completed my gallery wall.  Again, this project has been going on for so long (my own fault) and I was thrilled to finally get this part done.  I also got new glasses (that I ordered online) and started having champagne at night (sometimes).

WEEK FIVE:
JULY 30-31

And the final couple of days of the month, found me getting the top of my dining room hutch decorated.

Again, the many activities and celebrations I participated in, did not make the photo cut but that doesn’t mean that they weren’t valued or important.
