Daily Outfits for the Modern Woman

Today, I’m sharing some recent outfits from my daily life. Running errands, going to work and spending time with friends these are easy and comfortable outfits. Most of these pieces are not new and I’m sure have been featured in other outfit of the day posts.

Daily 1

In this daily fit, I’m wearing wide legged jeans, with a cable knit sweater and a collared dickey underneath. I prefer to wear a fake collar under a sweater like this because a full shirt feels so bulky.

These jeans are a pair of my current favorite extra wide legged ones. I believe these are from Land’s End. And for shoes, which are hard to see, I’m wearing some neutral toned ballet flats.

Daily 2

I wore this daily fit when going to a photography exhibit with a friend. This skirt is a new acquisition from Ann Taylor. It’s a bubble skirt (similar) which is quite popular these days but mostly I’ve seen them with much shorter skirts. I like the bubble midi length-feels fun and whimsical.

The bubble feature as well as the fullness of the skirt definitely calls a slimmer top. I have on a white t-shirt and black vest. A little seriousness with some fun. You can also get a glimpse of the neutral ballet flats that I’m wearing and have been wearing a lot!

Daily 3

This daily fit was a running errands day. It’s an easy, breezy outfit with leggings, a black dri-fit shirt, a linen blazer and platform sneakers.

2 details that I love-I added a black flower to the lapel AND the blazer covers my bottom! It’s just a little nicer yet super easy way to dress for running errands and not looking like a mess.

Daily 4

This daily fit was a work day one when it was warming up and I had a ton of driving around to do. Loving the navy and white combo along with my favorite ballet flats.

I also have this shirt in white and I love it. I love the length and the structure of the shirt. It is linen material vs a soft cotton so it stands up on its own. The other thing that I like about this shirt is that it can double as a jacket especially during the upcoming warmer months.

So that’s it for this month’s outfits. This month was a little bit of everything which is exactly what my life is like! Thoughts? Suggestions? Share in the comments!
