Seasonal Fashion Transitions

Outfit header

Not that it matters but these outfit photos were not taken super recently. It’s currently winter and these photos were taken in July 2024. However, while I may not style these outfits in the exact same way during this current season, I would still wear many of these pieces but styled for colder weather. No need to waste cute outfit pics though!

Season 1

I would definitely wear each of these pieces in the current season. I’ve definitely worn the ballet flats! The pants are linen and ankle length so for the winter I would wear these with boots. The shirt has long sleeves which is more than enough for me during the winter.

Because I don’t get cold too easily, during the warmer months I would likely not even wear any outer wear. During the winter, I would likely wear a long cardigan.

Season 2

Same pants and shoes with a different shirt. A very comfortable and easy outfit to wear during warmer months.

Season 3

During the warmer months, this outfit is worn out of the house just like this with no coverup or jacket. In fact, the shirt is being worn kind of like a jacket; it is a cropped length.

During the cooler months, I would not tie up the shirt and would wear tights to cover my feet. I would also wear some kind of jacket, blazer or even a moto jacket.

Season 4

You can see how easily it is to turn this dress into a winter outfit! Throw on some patterned tights (for interest) and some boots either knee high or low and your are good to go!

And, these sleeves have a button to hold them up so for cooler weather they would be rolled down!

So, even though these photos are some months in the past, you can see how you don’t need a whole new wardrobe for warmer and cooler seasons.
