I have another quick and simple post today. But the good news is really that I have knocked off another item from my “running to do list.” Again, there is no good reason that it took me so long to tackle this task. I finally managed to handle the shower head replacement project.
Primary Bath
I forgot to take a before photo of the shower head in the primary bathroom but you’ll see it later in the guest bath room. I took down the old shower head and replaced it with one I had purchased a long time ago!
Replacing the shower head was as easy as it looked. I did have to use a wrench to loosen up the nut but then it was simply adding the tape and screwing it all in. Of course, I tested the water to make sure that there are no leaks.
Guest Bath
Sometime last year, the old shower head broke. It was still usable but the face plate had come off. And, it has been there since I moved here in 2004! I figured I would kill 2 birds with one stone. So, I put the shower head from my primary bath in to the guest bath.
You can tell that it was still usable-the cover had fallen off!
This is the shower head from my master bath. There is nothing wrong with it so I’m glad that I could use it in the guest bathroom.
Doing projects like this help me feel like I’m taking care of my house and making it more of a home. Even though the guest bath doesn’t get used a ton, it’s still nice to know that when I do have guests they will have a shower head that is in good working order.
What do you think? What can I do to stop procrastinating on these projects that really take no time to complete? Share in the comments!
When you figure out how to stop procrastinating, you let me know! I’m trying something new with my list of over 100 to do items. I’m going to rank them on a high medium low scale for both time and importance. I’ll let you know how it works.
