Time for another what I wore post and today we’re featuring the color black. I wear lots of different colors and black is usually featured. It is definitely my go to color when I don’t feel like thinking about what to wear or if I’m not feeling great about my body.
Outfit 1
This black and cream is one of my favorite color combinations. And it works in reverse as well with a cream shirt and black pants. This is a casual outfit that can easily be made more upscale with a change in shoes and accessories.
I’m wearing my current fave sneakers though I could have easily worn ballet flats or any other type of flat shoe or even a low heel. These pants are super comfortable and I love wearing them in a variety of ways.
Outfit 2
Today, I have on the same sneakers, a pair of casual black pants with a striped linen shirt tied at the waist. Underneath, I just have on a plain cotton camisole.
I was re-thinking wearing the shirt tied at the waist and decided to wear it more as a covering. I then topped it off with a light weight jacket.
Outfit 3
Back to black pants but now it’s jeans with a distressed hem. And, I’m also wearing my favorite polka shirt. The jeans are wide-legged which we know I love.
Jeans aren’t always super casual. This outfit can be elevated even more or dressed down. I wearing some kitten heal pumps that dresses up the outfit a bit more.
Outfit 4
Today, I’m wearing a pair of taper legged black slacks with a blingy t-shirt. This is a classic black and white combination which never gets old and never goes out of style. It’s another combination that can be switched up with white on the bottom and black on the top.
For shoes, I’m wearing some low heeled black slingbacks. And, I decided to go with some color for my outerwear.
Outfit 5
This outfit is one that I would define as business casual comfy. I’m wearing a casual ribbed t-shirt with a champagne satin skirt and of course my favorite sneakers.
This outfit is so comfortable and it can easily go from work to happy hour and you’ll still look cute!
I am currently having a love affair with satin skirts. In addition to this one, I also have a navy one and a black one.
