I enjoy fashion but I’m not a fashionista. Like most of us, I wear what I have. I repeat items while trying to style them in different ways. In this post, you’ll see a couple of items repeated. Sometimes, I get a bit obsessed with an item and try to wear it as much as possible!
Wear #1
Here I’m wearing a hot pink button up shirt with cargo style black joggers. For shoes, I have on some simple khaki suede like loafers. For a bit of interest, I have the shirt rolled up in the front and left long in the back.
I’m also wearing a white t-shirt underneath. I like to layer because then I often either don’t need a jacket or just need something light.
Wear #2
This is another fun outfit. I love these high waisted wide leg jeans! They are so comfortable to wear. Here, I’ve paired them with my ECCO tennis shoes and a simple short sleeve black t-shirt.
It’s a pretty casual outfit but pairing it with a blazer with an oversized flower pin elevates it. I did wear this to work on a day when I only a a couple of clients to visit. I’m okay with wearing jeans to work but tend to prefer a darker wash. I do like this look though.
Wear #3
And, here is the bright pink shirt again but in a much different setting. I’m in Mexico and it’s warm! I’ve paired the shirt with another white t-shirt and some khaki linen pants. As with the outfit in Wear #1, the pink shirt is being used as a layer-tied around the shoulders for now and for use as it cools down.
Sometimes, it’s good to remember that a shirt can be a jacket, too.
Wear #4
It has been hard for me to find pants for work that are comfortable and stylish. As we know, I do enjoy a wide leg but I also really like the ankle length as well. I also like pattern mixing and while it’s hard to tell here, the pants have a light stripe which I’ve paired with this polka dot shirt. The shoes are flat pointy toe sling backs.

Wear #5
Here are more polka dots! I have had this outfit for a few years but have NEVER worn them together!! I don’t know why but I’m glad I did! For a bit of color, I have on some suede like blush pumps.
I love that the skirt has pockets and that it is a flow-y. This outfit also goes through the seasons and looks great with all sorts of shoes-tennis shoes, flats, boots, etc….
Wear #6
Here are the pants again!! This time they’re paired with a striped shirt and nude, kitten heel pumps.
These pants are so easy to dress up or down. Just like the previous outfit, any type of shoe goes with these pants. Worn with a higher heel, these pants look less casual. They are super comfortable and I struggle to NOT wear them.
I enjoy looking back at outfits that I’ve worn in the past and recent past. It reminds me of what I like and don’t. Seeing what I’ve worn, helps me to think about wearing my clothes in a different way.
