I’m here today with a quick laundry closet update and also to share some fall crafts that I worked on for the upcoming holiday.
Laundry Closet Make Over
My machines arrived! There was a bit of stress and tension because my original installation date was 11/14, however, I received a message a few days before that the washer was back ordered until the end of December and the earliest installation date would be 01/03/2024. Um, no thank you! The consultant I’ve been working with was able to find me a comparable product that was in stock. I was going to get the LG Thin Q set but instead I got the Samsung AI wifi enabled set. Now, I have to learn how to use steam to clean my clothes!
The installers arrived and removed my old faithful machine and installed the new ones in about an hour!
Thank you for your many years of service!!!
And now, the newbies have arrived. I feel like I should name them but I haven’t yet.
She looks so lonely in this plain room. Even though they are two separate machines that are stacked, I think of them as one unit! Onward to the next steps of the laundry closet makeover!
Crafts, Crafts and more Crafts
I consider myself a creative person but my creative mojo definitely ebbs and flows. During the holidays though, thankfully the spirit returns.
First up, are some home decor objects that are definitely fall/Thanksgiving themed.
I got these pumpkin shapes at Michael’s for 80% off. I also bought some fall florals and used them to fill the empty space. They came empty. I then used my Cricut to cut out the ‘thankful’ and ‘grateful’ words.
Next up are a few t-shirts. We’re having a casual and hopefully stress-free Thanksgiving dinner this year but I still wanted to be festive yet comfortable and I wanted to make something fun for my 19 month old niece as well.
This next one is for me.
I made this one to have less of a vibrant look and more of a vintage or worn look. The shirt is big and loose so no worries about over eating!!
And this final shirt is not fall or Thanksgiving themed but I thought my mom should have something fun, too. She and my niece (her granddaughter) are best friends!
That’s it for now. I really need to start getting creative by working on my handmade holiday cards! I might make some other fun holiday crafts as well! I really like making t-shirts and I have a feeling that the niece might get something for Christmas as well!
The crafts are so cute! And I can’t wait to see the pictures with you all in your tshirts 🙂
