Time for another fashion post to show you what I recently wore. The weather is colder now and I’m out of dresses for the time being and into more sweaters and boots.
I don’t have what I call a uniform per se but I do like to keep daily dressing easy, casual and comfortable.
Nothing in these photos is new. If I have a link, I will post it.
OUTFIT 1
Here I am wearing camo pants with a simple black thin sweater and black belt. I’ve paired this outfit with neutral lug sole boots.
It’s a bit chilly outside so I also have on my current favorite long line black knit cardigan with grommets. The sweater also has a hood but for me the hood is a design element. This is what I wore for a casual work day.
OUTFIT 2
This another simple outfit. Jeans, t-shirt, the same black belt and the same black cardigan paired with my lug sole loafers.
I love skinny jeans!! Some trends say that skinny jeans are out and more baggy style are in. I do see more baggy style jeans (and I have some) but I don’t think skinny jeans will ever go out of style. How else do you wear knee high boots over your jeans????
OUTFIT 3
Again, another simple to put together outfit! My skinny jeans (again) paired with a long line tulip shaped sweater with western style boots. I wore this outfit during an event where I was going to be moving around a lot. Comfort was key.
I really like long sweaters like this. You can wear any type of close fitting jean or leggings with them. I also have this sweater in a gray color.
This type of sweater can also be dressed up with leather/leather like pants and boots or even heels.
OUTFIT 4
This outfit is a little less casual but still very easy to wear. I’m wearing some plain black pants with a blush tie front shirt along with my patent leather lug sole loafers. These shoes are so comfortable!
Just showing you the details on these loafers as well as the tie on the shirt. This shirt can easily be worn dressed up or down. I like that the tie gives the waist a nice structure.
Thanks for reading along with my monthly outfit posts. I really love doing them and I am learning a lot about my style as well as what I like and don’t like.
I have said in the past that one piece dressing is my favorite but I am also finding that I like outfits that are easy to put together and comfortable to wear.
Some trends are great (lug soled shoes) and are very wearable. I don’t dress for trends but I do like to keep up with them. I like to see what is happening even if it doesn’t appeal to me. I find that paying attention to trends gives me more ideas about updating my own style!
