Time to share another fashion or outfit of the day round up. I have a lot of fun doing these and am sometimes really proud of what I put together. I will admit though there are times when I look back at what I wore and wonder what I was thinking or feeling.
For now, let’s enjoy these latest fashions!
OUTFIT 1
One of my friends sent me an Instagram Reel of a woman showing her vests and she said that the woman reminded her of me. I’ve always had a thing for vests, dusters, light weight jackets, etc….
I was inspired by that reel to pull out a vest/jacket that I had not worn in a very long time.
I love wearing something that’s been sitting in my closet unloved. Wearing this reminded me of how much I really like it and how versatile it is. I like it best left open but it can also be closed and worn as a dress-it is heavy enough.
It is quite old and from Target many years ago. I’ll be wearing this more when the opportunity arises.
OUTFIT 2
This is an easy, casual outfit. I’m wearing my favorite distressed hem jeans with a long, speckled, high necked top. Nothing is particular special about this outfit but I think that the top elevates the jeans and makes it appropriate for work (not at all work places would this be true).
The sleeve is ruffled like the neck which is a nice touch. I also like the length of the top. Longer tops that cover your butt are usually better for work environments. I also like that while the waist isn’t cinched, it does gather some which gives the top more shape. Without the elastic gather, you run the risk of the top looking less polished.
OUTFIT 3
This outfit started out with a different shirt. I was going to wear a simple black sweater and then I saw this polka dot shirt in my closet and thought, “well, black goes with pink and so does white so why can’t I wear them together”???? There is nothing wrong with wearing the more simple top but I was feeling a bit more adventurous on this day. I love this color combo and will find other ways to wear it!
You’ll see I’m wearing neutral kitten heel pumps with this outfit. The color combo is all the interest needed! And you’ll also see that I am continuing with my tuck vs not to tuck dilemma. I am a tucker as I think it gives more visual interest. I am generally a more of a half tucker than full tucker.
OUTFIT 4
This dress was worn on a very hot day-hence the sandals as well. I love not just the colors in this dress but also the abstract print.
I also love these sandals but my toes have no business being seen on the internet! They were in rough shape!
OUTFIT 5
Casual work outfit on a cooler day. And, I’m wearing some of my favorite elements. Once again, I’m wearing my favorite distressed hem jeans, the mock turtle neck is a body suit, and a long line duster sweater!
I also have on some very comfortable Clarks pumps that I’ve featured in the past.
OUTFIT 6
A very simple out for the day. I’ve had these pants for awhile but don’t think I’ve shown them here. They are a high waist cargo style pants but they are heavy like denim. The long sleeve black shirt is also a body suit. I like body suits because they don’t bunch up at the waist.
I’ve paired this simple out with a simple black blazer so that I don’t look too casual for work. Again, I’m showing the length of the jacket which covers my backside!
OUTFIT 7
I love this outfit! I remember when I wore it I felt so good and put together. Again, there is nothing particularly special about these pieces. I’m wearing boot cut jeans with a tie neck shirt which is half tucked.
These boot cut jeans look so cute with my boots! Again, I’m wearing this to work so I’ve paired it with a blue blazer with gold buttons. Simple, casual yet stylish!
