This month half of my life is at home and the other half is my travel adventures! My memory keeping follows the philosophy that documenting the regular, ordinary days of life is just as important as the major life events. It is in fact the ordinary days that are actually our “life.”
Please enjoy!
WEEK ONE-9/1-7
There’s a lot going on in this first week of the month. I’m getting ready (and very excited) about going on vacation, trying to get much of my living room refresh done and continuing with Italian language lessons.
WEEK TWO-9/8-14
I’m working hard to get my client visits and court notes completed before I leave on vacation. I’m also finalizing vacation plans. Apple announced the new phone, the 13 but I’m not interested. I always feel a little envy when the new phones come out because they’re so shiny and new and the cameras always improve. But, I have the iPhone 11 and it works just fine. And the camera is still really good. And best of all, the NFL season has started!!
WEEK THREE-9/15-21
This is my final week at home before my vacation. I’ve started packing and am having a little anxiety regarding having enough but not too much. The other thing on my mind that I am glad to have resolved before I leave is the effort to recall the governor. He beat the recall by a landslide and I am thoroughly pleased. By the end of the week, my work is done and I can focus on my vacation. I left for the first leg of my trip, New York, on Sunday, September 19. For the next 3 weeks, it’s all about fun, adventure and being with friends.
WEEK FOUR 9/22-28
I’m in New York! During the week, I’ll be adventuring with George and Renata and the weekend I’ll be hanging out with Debbie. Blog post coming soon!
I was so happy to be able to spend time with my niece, Choice, who lives in Brooklyn. She is definitely living the New York life and seems to really be finding her way.
END OF THE MONTH 9/29-30
The adventure continues and now I’m in Italy. First stop, Cinque Terre!!
See you next month to continue my adventures and then reset when I return home!!
