I’m on it!! Time to review last month’s goals and let you know what I’m working on for this month.
HOME
Finish office–DONE. After several months and getting some help, I was able to finish the refresh of my office. This has been a constant on my monthly list for awhile now so it feels great to have it done! On to the next project!
Clean out 2 dresser drawers in the guest room closet–NOT YET.
Check if my old office armoire can be picked up–DONE. But it’s not picked up yet as my area is still in quarantine protocol.
Find a storage dresser for the office–IN PROCESS. I continue to look but I haven’t found the “one” yet!
CREATIVE
Hand make 2 cards–DONE.
Finish 2 office decor projects–DONE. I actually completed more than anticipated but when I made this goal I had completed none!
HEALTH/FITNESS
Drink 64 ounces of water x 24 days. I completed this 23 days. While I didn’t exactly meet this goal, I was proud that I actually made the goal 18 days in a row. Since the ultimate goal is to drink at least 64 ounces per water daily, this is positive progression!
7,000 steps x 20 days. I completed this one 13 days.
Workout 15 times per month. I completed this goal ZERO times this month.
Strength Train 4 times this month. I completed this goal ZERO times per month.
Don’t buy potato chips. DONE. I went a WHOLE month without buying and eating chips!!!
SPIRITUAL
Do a face mask 10 times. I completed this one 9 times this month.
FINANCIAL
Don’t buy lunch more than 2 times. DONE. I went out 4 times this month. I bought food twice, once I didn’t have lunch and once I brought lunch with me.
Weekly Budget Review-NOPE. No reason or excuse, I just didn’t do this task even when I had time scheduled out to get it done. One reason is that I was uber focused on getting my office refresh done but I could have spent some time on this area if I wanted to.
Track Spending-KIND OF. I was not as focused as in January when I did my no spend month but I did save receipts even though I didn’t write anything down.
$2 SAVINGS CHALLENGE-DONE. I’m still plugging away at this one. It’s just fun and it’s fun to see the jar get filled. Even though it’s not a ton of money, the visual is nice.
MARCH GOALS
HOME
–CLEAN/ORGANIZE CRAFT AREA-I had originally thought that I might do a refresh of my living room but I decided that I needed to do something equally impactful but less intense.
–CLEAN OUT 2 DRESSER DRAWERS IN THE GUEST ROOM CLOSET
-CONTINUE TO LOOK FOR THE “ONE”-DRESSER STORAGE FOR THE OFFICE
-ARRANGE PICK UP OF OFFICE ARMOIRE
CREATIVE
–HAND MAKE AT LEAST 2 CARDS-this month I will do a different style than January & February
HEALTH/FITNESS
–DRINK 64 OUNCES OF WATER X 25 DAYS
–7,000 STEPS X 15 DAYS
-EXERCISE X 12
–STRENGTH TRAIN X 4
–DON’T BUY CHIPS-I’m doing this one again to try and establish a new habit and break an old one. I almost bought chips during one of my grocery shopping trips but then I remembered my goal and walked away muttering, “no, no, no”!!
SPIRITUAL
–WEEKLY FACE TO FACE FRIEND CONTACT. It’s getting way too easy to just stay in the house. I am fully vaccinated and comfortable doing outdoor activities including walking and outside dining with others (with masks and socially distanced). At the end of last month, I went out to dinner in San Francisco with a couple of friends and it was so nice to be out socializing.
FINANCIAL
-WEEKLY BUDGET REVIEW-When I pay attention to the details of my finances, things are just better-I feel more content and less anxious.
–NO CLOTHING PURCHASES-After my no spend month in January, I did a little spending in February. I didn’t go crazy but most of what I bought were needs and not wants. There is room in the budget for these purchases but I want to make sure that I remain mindful & thoughtful about my purchases.
-WEEKLY SAVINGS CHALLENGE
So far, so good! As we move into the 3rd month of the year, I am pleased with the progress I’ve made in many areas. I’m frustrated at the difficulty I’m having developing a fitness routine. Any thoughts or suggestions for me? Share in the comments.
