Memory Keeping-June Project Life

Down to the wire but still getting it done before the month is over! Here is my Project Life spread for June. I’ve added in a little something extra this month as I want to document the pandemic a bit more completely.

WEEK ONE

PL week 1

One of the highlights this week is that I received some new masks that I use with my Foreo UFO tool. It’s a masking tool that uses T-Sonic pulsations and LED light therapy to deliver the goods. I absolutely love using it and my skin loves it too!

WEEK TWO

PL week 2

Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests and vigils are in full force this week and I had the opportunity to attend a vigil. The speakers were youth from the local high school and they were phenomenal.

WEEK THREE

PL week 3

In light of the death of George Floyd and the BLM movement, the importance of Juneteenth has been brought to light. The nursing and medical staff at San Mateo Medical Center put together an event highlighting Juneteenth and the racial disparities in health care.

WEEK FOUR

PL Week 4

I finally took the time to go through all of my racing t-shirts, cut them as instructed and sent of to Project Repat to be made into a quilt. This task has been on my to do list for at least 3 years! I now await the arrival of my quilt!

MONTHLY EXTRAS

I have been seeking a way to more thoroughly document the pandemic. I recently became aware of free monthly printable from Persnickety Prints that fit the bill.

This is the front page.

Nothing special about these photos. In the top one, I was just playing with the camera in the mirror. The photo of my bedroom is documenting that it is clean!
this month

This is the back page. In the spirit of not wasting pages, I decided that in addition to adding the pandemic information, I will get a little more specific about my month. I hope that generations from now my descendants will think that this is pretty cool. The “this month” document is available from katiethecreativelady. It can be used as a printable as I did and can also be used digitally in Photoshop.
I have printed out the pandemic information from the earlier months and plan to go back and add these pages to my scrapbook.

What do you think about my adding the extras? Do you think the pages enhance of story telling of my life or……..? Share in the comments.
