Memory Keeping-April Project Life

I continue to run behind in posting my memory keeping photos though I continue taking a daily photo.
Let’s catch up on Project Life for April and soon I’ll get back on track with May.

WEEK ONE

We are in our first full month of quarantine also known as shelter in place. At this point, I am hoping that things start to open up by mid-May. My job has told me to plan on working from home for the remainder of the month.
Right now, I am eating a lot and drinking a lot of wine. I have written out this massive list of things I’d like to do since I have to be home. And I am home all of the time! I do leave to go to the grocery store about every other week.
And, I am realizing that it is very hard to find things to take photos of when you’re not leaving the house. It all feels rather redundant. However, it’s also a good way to document daily life in photos.

WEEK TWO

PROJECT LIFE WEEK TWO

This week, I am working full speed on my master bath refresh. I’m reading a lot and doing some FaceTimes and google hangouts. I also went out to visit some clients who live in their own homes. I bring them money and gift cards for groceries.

WEEK THREE

PROJECT LIFE WEEK THREE

Doing lots of cooking and kind of enjoying it. I never much liked cooking before but I’m getting in to it. This week, I also participated in an action with my union to demand more PPE (personal protective equipment) for our employees. Our medical staff are scrounging for need supplies and their lives are at risk.
The sign describes how I’m feeling at the moment. It says, “this too shall pass. It might pass like a kidney stone, but it will pass.”

WEEK FOUR

PROJECT LIFE WEEK FOUR

I’m struggling and this week I’m baking! Still working on my bathroom project and enjoying it. This week I should have been in Anaheim at a creative conference but Corona said, “NO!”

WEEK FIVE

PROJECT LIFE WEEK FIVE

This final week of April and the start of May finds me baking some more. I also did a foot peel which is very effective while also being very gross. I’m hanging out with the Babes on Google hangouts every week which is a lot of fun. I’m a fairly social person so this interaction is really helpful for my mental health.
My local sports channel is replaying basketball games from the Warriors championship years and I’m loving it. Even though they only show the games they won, I watch as if I don’t know the outcome! Finding pockets of joy where ever I can.
