When we last met in the medicine cabinet, I had pulled the thing out and laid down a marble decor contact paper that I hated!
To be clear, I liked the decor idea but did not care for the way the marble paper looked in this space. After an exhaustive (!) internet search, I found a style that I thought would work and ordered it from Amazon. And guess what???? I love it!
This hexagon paper did the trick! I love the way it looks and can tell that it will work well after all of the painting and framing is complete!
I needed to cover the back, the sides, as well as the top and bottom. I also needed to make shelves.
I believe that I mentioned in the last post about the medicine cabinet project that I recently bought a jigsaw and it helped tremendously with cutting the boards to create my makeshift box.
I was able to use the holes and brackets from my previous post to install the shelves.
Clearly, there is still work to be done! I will stain the shelves and after painting the walls will frame out the medicine cabinet space.
I’m really excited to be making progress on my master bath refresh. Even though it continues to go more slowly than I would like, I’m pleased with the progress. More to come very soon!
