I’m back with a recap of what I’ve worn since 12/31/19 to present. I don’t have any rhyme or reason as to when I take photos of my outfits. Sometimes, it’s because I’m particularly pleased with what I wore and other times I just feel like I should take a photo!
This is what I wore for New Year’s Eve. And, these photos were actually taken 01/01/2020 when I got home. I was rushing to leave on time for dinner so I didn’t stop to take pics. I had fun with this outfit with a maxi skirt, graphic tee and layered pearl necklace. You can’t see my shoes which are leopard flats.
This was a casual outfit that I wore to meet friends for dinner and a movie. It’s been fairly chilly here so I like to layer in case I get too hot (hello menopause)!!! These leggings are currently on the favorite list. I got them over the holidays when I was in Southern California from …………TARGET!!!
Guess where I’m going in this outfit??!! I’m off to another Warriors game in San Francisco. Again, the temps require layering. The hoodie and t-shirt are several years old!
I’m not a huge fan of mirror selfies but I could not resist the light in this one. I had taken the photo on the far left in the AM before I left for work and it was a bit dark. It’s been raining and I don’t get a ton of light in my house on the brightest days. You can see the difference in the coloring of the black and white top/dress. This is a “uniform” that I go to time and time again. I like leggings or jeans with a long, tunic type top.
And…….here we go again! Cute leggings with a long top and my favorite wedge shoes! These are different leggings from the Target ones. I got these in Las Vegas from the Ann Taylor store. They are also textured which I think helps to elevate the leggings making them less casual.
This was a casual rainy day outfit. Again, it’s been cold and wet here so I needed to keep it easy to get through the work day. No leggings today but black slacks instead with a sweater that is one piece making it very easy to wear. It’s not bulky and not too warm.
And finally, an easy way to get dressed when you’re running late, it’s cold and wet, you have plans for dinner with a friend, and you want to be comfortable! A midi-maxi dress with boots. The black boots I’m wearing are actually over the knee boots. I like them with many outfits but not with this one. They are too slouchy with this dress. I wore them because it was raining and I didn’t give myself time to find the right pair for this dress.
That’s it for this month. I’m going to work very hard each month to get some good lighting for my pics even if it means pics in a bathroom!
Do you have a favorite outfit from above? What do you think of my “uniform?” Do you have a uniform? SHARE IN THE COMMENTS.
