November Project Life

Memory keeping is in full force and for the first time since I started project life in 2010 I am caught up and not stressing about how many months behind I am. My current system using the Big Happy Planner and printing photos using my Sprocket is what has been effective. The other piece is the commitment I made to posting my project life spreads each month on the blog.

WEEK ONE:

The highlights of this week included attending the Happiness Hall of Fame where I got to meet former 49er Bubba Paris. The event itself was fun. The entire thing was free and they served great food and drinks.
The other highlight was celebrating a couple of my book club Babes birthdays at Spasso in San Carlos. Their birthdays were in October but this was the first time we could get together.

WEEK TWO:

This week was pretty amazing for both good and not so good reasons. I was able to attend the Tab Benoit concert on Monday, voted in the mid-term election on Tuesday, and found out the my choice for Governor won on Wednesday. The not so great was that an entire town (Paradise, CA) that is about 185 miles from where I live burned down. The fire raged for days and there was a tremendous amount of destruction. While the fire was not close to me and I was in no danger, the magnitude of the fire led to incredibly smoky skies that did find their way to my area. We were wearing masks when outside and the recommendation was to not be outside if you didn’t need to be. Many were experiencing headaches, sore throats and fatigue. It was a really hard time but the main concern was the loss of life and the people who lost everything.

WEEK THREE:

Lots of football and socializing this week and you’ll have no complaint from me. I also managed to do a face mask. I love doing masks but by the time I think about them I’m tired and ready for bed. I don’t want to spend the 15-20 minutes that the mask needs to work. However, I loved how my skin looked right after the mask AND in the morning when I woke up. It was a hydrating mask and it really did the trick.

WEEK FOUR:

This was Thanksgiving week and of course it was all about the family and friends. Before that though, I did something that was really fun. I helped a friend find an outfit and accessories for an important event. She wanted to be comfortable but still festive and in an outfit that expressed the special nature of the occasion. Needless to say, it was a really successful endeavor and I thoroughly enjoyed helping her with the task.
My mom and I went to see the movie Green Book over the holiday week and it was really fantastic. Mahershala Ali was wonderful and I would be terribly disappointed if he did not get nominated for an Oscar.

WEEK FIVE:

For me, the week after Thanksgiving, is the official start of the holiday season. I managed to bring my tree and other holiday decor down from my storage area and started decorating. I love this time of year and enjoy decorating.

There you have it-November in a nutshell. I can’t believe that the next project life spread that I share with you will be for the final month of the year!!
