Project Life for May-mostly on time

It’s that time of the month again! Time to share my Project Life spread for May. I’m not late like with the April spread but I’m also not sharing earlier in the month as I’d like to do.  In any event, I’ve made progress on being more on time. And part of June is done already as well.  Each month, I get closer and closer to staying on top of this project.

Some special events in May included:
My little sister Alissa’s high school graduation which included a flight to Southern California for me;
Northern California Book Club Babes meeting (we ALL hated the book);
Going to 2 live theater shows one that included my niece in the cast;
As usual though, Project Life is not about the special events, it’s about appreciating the ordinary of the day-to-day. Life is the ordinary plus the special and it all counts.

MAY 1-6

Still hard to believe that we’ve finished 5 months in 2018 already!

MAY 7-13

The NBA playoffs started with the Golden State Warriors playing the New Orleans Pelicans in Western Conference Semi-finals.  In case you don’t know, I’m a Warriors fan!

MAY 14-20

Got to spend some time with the family as I flew down to the Los Angeles area for Alissa’s graduation.  She is the baby of the family and the final grad in the immediate family.

MAY 21-27

Graduation day was the highlight of the week!  My sister, Alece also celebrated her birthday on 5/22 and my older sister, Lorez celebrated her birthday on 5/25!!  And my actress niece, Choice will be staying with me for the summer as she will be in a summer production of In the Heights.  It all came together rather quickly and at the last minute and I am thrilled that I have an extra bedroom and bathroom to help support her efforts!

MAY 28-31 (IGNORE THE JUNE DATES UNTIL NEXT MONTH)!

This week I had a really fun Memorial Day with friends as we did a Alfred Hitchcock walking tour of San Francisco.  It was a gorgeous day that also included eating and shopping in downtown SF.

5/31 marked the start of the NBA finals with my Warriors going up against the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 4th year in a row. Game 1 saw a hard-fought and somewhat controversial win for Golden State.  Oh well, a win is a win and as long as my team wins, I’m happy.
