I’ve been spending some time this year really trying to work on my spiritual life. One major area I’m working on is stopping negative thoughts. It’s really easy to go to a negative place when things aren’t going your way, when you’re tired, anxious or scared.
Research, in fact shows us that being negative is a natural state. Probably some type of defense mechanism to protect ourselves.
To think positively, we actually have to work at it. I am trying to recognize the negative thoughts when they come, STOP them, and then reframe the thought in a positive way. It’s way harder than it sounds!!
This is just a little toe dip into the spiritual world. In a future post, I’ll share some of the affirmations that I have been working into my daily routine.
